Nathaniel Baker
Senior Associate
Nathaniel Baker is committed to protecting the rights of Maryland workers. He has successfully represented clients in a variety of employment cases, including retaliation, discrimination, hostile work environment, and wage-and-hour matters. He prides himself on breaking down legal terms into clear language to help his clients understand all the best available options.
Before joining Freedman Law, Nathaniel practiced employment law at a local non-profit firm. Prior to that, he worked at the Social Security Administration, which gave him a unique understanding of the impact that both physical and mental health conditions can have on a person’s life. This experience led him to take a special interest in claims brought under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Nathaniel grew up in Carroll County. He completed his undergraduate degree at Penn State and received his law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, building and painting scale models, and is an award-winning amateur cook.
